How to add or remove Authenticator

Binding Authenticator
Authentication adds another layer of security to your Darkex account which you will be prompted upon logging in successfully.

In order to add an Authenticator, you will need to log-in to your Darkex account first. After logging in, from the top right corner hover over to your profile icon.

Then click on the "Account Safety" button.

From there, you will see the security options on your screen.

Clicking "Bind" will start the process of binding Authenticator application to your profile.qr.png

After setting everything up as mentioned in the screenshot, you will successfully bind Authenticator to your profile. From that point forward, you will be asked Authenticator code after you log-in.

Unbinding Authenticator

While Authenticator is heavily recommended, there may be times where you lose access to your phone that you use to Authenticator, e-mail address associated with it or your phone. In these cases, you would need to unbind the Authenticator to remove it, then bind another one as you see fit.

Due to security reasons, Authenticator unbind requests require you to be verified as account owner, as such, we would kindly ask you to send us an e-mail to support@darkex.com with the following information:

1. A handwritten note stating today's date: "I request that the Google Authenticator login be reset for
my **@.com account registered with Darkex.com."
2. A photo of you holding a handwritten note with your face visible.
3. Identity document such as ID, Driver's License, Passport etc.

All of these documents must be in a single frame for us to be able to handle your request.
